PokerhubIndia.com (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an informational directory of legal poker venues in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDPA”).

1. What we collect

  • Newsletter form: email address.
  • Lead / ‘Request a seat’ forms: name, phone number, email (optional), city and state, preferred game format, and any notes you choose to share.
  • Promotions submission form: event details and submitter contact details.
  • Analytics: anonymous usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate region). We do not sell analytics data to third parties.

2. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and, where requested, connect you with a poker venue or host.
  • To send you newsletter updates if you have subscribed.
  • To review and publish promotion submissions.
  • To improve the site and detect abuse.

3. Lawful basis & consent

We collect and process your personal data on the basis of your specific, informed consent at the point of submission. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@pokerhubindia.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Sharing

We share your contact details only with the specific venue or host you have requested a connection with. We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) bound by their own privacy obligations.

5. Retention

Lead and contact-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights under the DPDPA

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or completion of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
  • Grievance redressal — write to us; if unresolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Children

This site is intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies

We use a small set of cookies for session, analytics and preference storage. You can clear or block cookies via your browser at any time.
